I'm Steve Carlson. My wife Sue and I own and operate Carlson Studio. I'm proud to be the third generation to operate the studio at this same location. The studio has been a portrait studio since 1908. It was originally Stadin Studio but was changed to Carlson Studio in 1955. We have deep roots and strong ties with our friends and clients in east central Minnesota.

I am privileged to have received recognition and awards from my peers, however, having a customer express appreciation and thanks means so much more to me. Sue and I consider the friendship and gratitude we receive from our customers priceless. To have families trust us to capture a milestone event such as high school graduation and also be given the trust to capture a private, tender moment, such as a mother nursing her baby, is very rewarding.
